He's HERE!

Zachary David Thielman was born February 28, 2008 at 11:45 p.m. Jason and I went to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning. They broke my water by 8:30 and I had an epidural by 9:30. After a very long day of labor I pushed for 3 hours. I was totally exhausted and finally the doctor said..."Just stop...you're too exhausted and weak to continue". He gave me some options for delivery, continue pushing, use the forceps or have a C-section. I said No to option number 1 right off the bat and said I trusted his judgment on the forceps. Once we made the decision to go with the forceps; Zach was born within about 5-10 minutes. It was amazing. After 14 hours we finally had our little guy.

41 weeks

Well...we're going in tomorrow morning to be induced! I'm very excited! I just know that I won't be able to sleep at all tonight. Keep your cell phones close! We'll be sending out a text message when he's born with all his stats!

40 weeks and 1 day

I'm 4 centimeters!! Almost half way there!! My doctor tells me that I could go at anytime! If Zach doesn't come on his own then I'm scheduled to be induced on Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 a.m. Let's hope he comes before then!!

39 1/2 Weeks!

I'm nesting! This morning I got up at about 4:30 a.m. and cleaned out the baby's closet. Here's a picture of everything that came out of the closet and a picture of the closet after all the junk came out!! With the exception of my purse collection everything that is now in the closet belongs to Zach.

No Valentines Baby

At my appointment yesterday the doctors said she'd be surprised to see me at my next appointment. I was hoping for a Valentine's baby....but we're still hanging in there! 5 days until my due date! We'll see if I last that long!

Play Time?

The animals are not allowed in Zach's room anymore. Gooch just can't seem to figure out why, so Jason has to have a heart to heart with him.
